How do you get a Job in the Music Industry?
June 62010
Well How?? I want to be a A&R for Warner Bros. a singer, song writer Record Producer and Music Publisher
It helps if you have some kind of qualification in music so that you can score music and do arrangements etc etc. The best there is in the US is Berklee in Boston. Lots of famous musicians started there.
But why Warner? There are others.
The music industry has been disfigured by cheap or free downloads over the past few years and might not be worth your time.
Ever thought of banking? They certainly get good bonus payments.
Good luck with your career.

Write a song. Something that you really "created" from your heart. Then go in person to Warner Brothers and walk in the door with confidence. Tell them that you will give them your song for free if they will hire you for one day at the A+R department. No one else will ever offer that so they will be surprised at your confidence. You might succeed.
