This song makes me … This song makes me cry when I hear it. The sound of the violin is so poignant, like sorrow and yearning made into beautiful punctuation for the rest of the song… brilliant. Blue October deserves more airtime on the radio!
i think the rain is … i think the rain is a representation of what he feels. because in the chorus he says “let the rain of what i feel come down” but when he finally expresses himself people leave. thats why he has te suicidal undertones in the song of going “into the ocean” to end it all. thats what i think.
I feel that this is … I feel that this is one of the most artistically talented music videos I have ever seen. Not only is the music beautiful and poetic, but the collaborating video is perfectly matched for the song.
It’s the story of how he sees himself and the people around him in life. He puts on a show for everyone to enjoy, but no one seems to understand him. In the end they leave him because of the rain. I can’t get what the rain symbolizes though. Can someone help me?

b. he’s playin his heart out beside the audience, but no one hears him. he looks kinda depressed.
c. he’s on the stage. everyone hears him now, but he’s suffering and all the audience is doing is observing him and talking over him and laughing at him, and then they eventually leave him, staring at the empty seats….looking kinda depressed
