Do i need a license to sell classic music records?

I live in UK..
i’m thinking about recording albums on CD’s and selling them as a business. I heard something like there is no author rights for something created over 50 years ago.. Does anybody know what license may i need to sell any other music?

1) Are the records your personal property?
2) Are you planning to start a "business" selling classic records as memorabilia?
