How can I record music from Guitar Pro 5?

March 72010

I know how to do it, but I don’t know how to configure my volume/microphone settings, so I can record the sound coming from the computer. I’ve tried all the combinations (yes, I have nothing better ot do) but I still get a noisy sound like "peeeeee" and I don’t hear anything!
In other words, does anyone know how to configure the microphone to make it shut up and record the music from the pc? Thank you

It’s because you don’t have the part that records what’s being played on the computer, it’s just recording the noise on the outside. I know EXACTLY your frustration. I have a desktop computer that records the sounds of guitar pro from inside the computer, but the problem is…IT”S TOO SLOW. Then, I get a laptop, and it doesn’t have the same recording method. What I suggest is: Download Mixcraft 4 or 3. You can then record your own songs which, I have learned, is MUCH more satisfying!

i dont understand for sure what you mean? did you create a song using the tab where you click on the virtual piano or fretboard, and now want to export it to playable file? if so you’ll have to go to file and then export as a midi file then download a free program from http://www.download.com that will convert it to a wave file that you can burn to a cd or play in windows media player. BUT if you asking about recording to your computer through a mic or guitar you would be better off using audacity for that which is also free good luck :0) p.s. i tried to export to a wave through the guitar pro program and it wouldn’t work for me but if you export it as midi you can convert it to wave with another program
