    Heh, I’ll say right now, the recording industry is gonna go down the tubes :p

    Their purpose in the past was to distribute music efficiently. They can no longer do that- bands can propagate themselves very efficiently via P2P/Torrents, so labels will cease existing unless they can somehow evolve into some completely different deal.
