I live in Punjab. I really like the western classical music like Mozart & Beethoven. Can anyone suggest me some place to buy discs or records of their music?

If there aren’t any classical music stores in your area, you can buy them on-line – www.amazon.com or www.amazon.co.uk or Amazon France/ Germany. There are thousands of on-line retailers and their prices are generally lower than those of ordinary record stores, and there is much more choice when you buy on-line.

I found a lot of old music records in the loft and there are 10 which are:

where can I sell all ten together, and a rough estimate for all of them??????

Sold nearly all mine on ebay now…search the titles within ebay and see what they are selling for–jap imports are where the money is…you need to sell worldwide ok…most of mine go to europe…

I was wondering if you can work at a music dept. store that sells albums
at the age of 16. I have heard from friends that you can’t work at game stores because some games are rated M for Mature. If this is true does the same apply for a music record store when it comes to the Parental Advisory label?

We have a lil’ bet going on, my buddies and I. Do you know of any house, techno, drum ‘n’ bass, dubstep, garage, hip hop and contemporary R&B that uses xylophone (samples are OK). Classic records would be great, obscure cool too!!!

i was told that huge audiophiles have vinyl versions of albums. that have great sound quality and are played on record players. i had no problem finding the albums that i would want but was wondering if you would need a certain type of record player. or would an older one work?
could i get more information on HD audio?

I am trying to find out a little more information on an old set of vinyl albums Ive seen at the flea market. Its a 1976 Websters Dictionary Classical Music albums (its a set). Does anyone know where I can find more information on it? I cant seem to find anything online and there isnt anywhere I can go in my town to have it looked at.

I’m guessing another company made the records for the Webster’s Dictionary company (Longiene’s or K-Tel) who marketed them, probably along with their big dictionaries. Reader’s Digest used to sell collections of such things, as well as Time-Life.

I’ll bet you can get a good bargain on those recordings. Lots of ‘em were made by both the London Symphony (my favorite) and the London Philharmonic (still very good). No way to tell what’s in the recordings without looking at the labeling on the box.

I am writing a short essay on the pros of listening to both old and new records on vinyl. Why do YOU enjoy it, regardless of whether or not the quality is "superior"? (This question is not for people who don’t like vinyl.)

Vinyl is history, memories, time gone by and found again. My father listened to records, his father listened to records. It’s an experience – a way of discovering something just as it was. Vinyl is also new; you can listen to recent bands on vinyl for a different sound. Just the physical act of playing it, collecting it, moving the needle’s wand, watching that disc spin around and around…is an art.
